I came to be involved with SAAOG during my residency. My former program director, Dr. Karen Harris, encouraged me to present a posterior at this meeting. And I have been attending the annual meeting ever since.

The benefits of being a member of SAAOG is to be able to discuss the most recent and up-to- date research within the field on an intimate level. While there are a number of other fantastic organizations that provide us with guidance and education, this organization allows us to have that discussion on a much more personal and intimate level.
What would you like to see occur in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology during your career?
I am excited to where artificial intelligence leads us in this field. I would also love to standardize paid parental leave and value women and individuals for their professional careers along with becoming mothers as they choose. I would like to see a better work life balance in our profession in order to provide quality care as the norm in our profession versus quantity.

Spending time with my 4 children, Hunting, Fishing, Sports Fan
