We are living during very uncertain times. COVID-19 has impacted us all, our families, our practices, our incomes, as well as every part of our profession and our society. Philanthropic and professional organizations have not been immune from this upheaval. This includes the SAAOG. Over the last few years, our organization has made great strides in enhancing its finances and thus securing our future. We have been on an upward trend, growing our annual meeting, and consequent industry support in each of the past few years. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, the SAAOG is experiencing significant financial losses resulting from the cancellation of the in-person 2021 Annual Meeting as well as the impact COVID-19 has had on member and industry-based revenue.
We are asking for your help to continue to sustain this society, and thus preserve our community, our history, our education, and our profession.
